Thame is an attractive market town, situated about 14 miles from Oxford, 10 miles from Aylesbury, and 20 miles from High Wycombe. It is easily accessible by road, being close to both the M40 and M25. Public transport is good, with regular bus services to Oxford and Aylesbury. The nearest train station is Haddenham and Thame Parkway (3 miles from Thame town centre), with frequent direct trains to London (50 minutes) and Birmingham (under 90 minutes).
With London just 50 minutes away by train, there is no shortage of local entertainment. However, Oxford, Aylesbury and High Wycombe also provide a wealth of opportunities from theatre and cinema, to shopping, sporting activities and the arts. The local countryside is also great to explore and enjoy.
