We are looking to employ staff who are attracted by the idea of working in a small, friendly team, and who have a genuine commitment to further study. Applicants should have a strong academic record, but we are happy to consider students from all subject-backgrounds.
The current starting salary for graduates is £15,000 per
annum. The level of salary increases in
subsequent years will depend upon a number of factors including experience and exam success. Post-qualification opportunities are good, with employees being encouraged to get involved in management, training, and other practice development activities.
Whilst a number of trainees choose to stay with Richardsons after qualification, those who have decided to move on have found their training experience to be a strong foundation for a wide variety of careers. Those students staying in practice have moved to both “big four” and mid-tier firms, specialising in, for example, audit or tax. Others have chosen careers in industry, either continuing to work in finance, or moving into general management roles.
