Oxfordshire Engage was created to address a recognised need for better collaboration between charities and businesses.
In March this year, they held an event at which a selected group of business leaders and charities from across Oxfordshire were invited to come together. The aim was to start a constructive dialogue on effective cross-sector working, to meet the challenges facing our community.
Alison Richardson was honoured to attend the event, to share her perspective on effective collaboration between business and charities, and gain insights and ideas from others through a series of excellently facilitated conversations.
Since then, the committee and Research Oxford have been hard at work compiling the findings of the event and have produced the Oxfordshire Engage Research Report which summarises the opportunities and challenges for each area of discussion, and importantly, captures the proposed solutions to make things better.
